Today many people use part time to work, most are students who use their free time to earn some extra money, others use temporary work as a second job they need to pay the fixed accounts of each month, there is still people who see in part-time the halfway stage to get a full-time employment.
However, in my opinion the experience of a part-time work should be rewarding for both the employees and for employers.
